"You Could've Called" - Ryan Chambers | Review

I fell in love with Ryan Chambers' ability to tap into the vulnerable and raw side of a love song.

It can be hard to release a love song that is real, raw, and shows your care and concern for someone. Not a breakup, not a madly-in-love song; just something real and relevant to when you are learning through a relationship be it love or friendship.

We have all been in those situations where we feel isolated. "You Could've Called" reaches out to those who could have called to check in and who should have seen the signs that things weren't all right. There is that painful side to any relationship that turns sour where you realize they don't care as much about you as you do about them and I think this track captures this bitter-sweet turning point,

Ryan has this gritty and soulful side to his voice that is magical to listen to. The guitar feels so raw and warm and just envelopes you into the story. It is a melancholy song reaching out and getting personal.

Ryan Chambers is a Canadian born singer/songwriter motivated by raw expression and experimentation. With uncompromisable integrity, Ryan refuses to be glued to just one genre. Remaining honest and vulnerable, he is never afraid to get too personal.
