Poetic new artist Luca Chesney has released her emotionally rich new single “Revolver”

off forthcoming LP Mother Electric.. This cleverly written track gives its listeners a dreamy

electro-RnB feel while welcoming soft, soulful vocals. The track is seemingly playful, but also has dark, ominous beats meant to express the complexities of human life and evolution through the death and rebirth cycle.

The lyrics which dive into this death-rebirth cycle allude to Plato’s Allegory of the Cave.

This philosophical metaphor illustrates the effects of education on the human soul. Luca’s song references the pulling of a trigger on her constructed self, revitalizing her to be self-actualized with new founded “control”.
