An Unheard Gems favorite, STVN is back with an electro-pop groove with his new single ‘Remedy’.
This track is the second off of his upcoming EP ‘Sugar High’, like the name of the EP, the song is a sugary sweet love song. I love seeing how STVN experiments with different sounds in the electro-pop genre going from very soft dream pop to a catchier danceable track like ‘Remedy’. This artist proves to us time and time again that they know what it takes to make a good track every time.
Not just romantic love, STVN even said: “This song is for those true friends. Those people that are there for you even when you're not at your best, who give you unconditional love. As much as this song fits within the "love song" category, it wasn't originally written as such. Honestly, it was just written when I was feeling really thankful one day for a couple of my closest friends. I haven't felt myself quite recently, but to feel loved by them despite it all is so reassuring.”
Steven Alexander Chen aka STVN is an independent artist, producer and songwriter from Philadelphia. He released his first single "Heartstrings" in 2019 which has since amassed over 200,000 streams across platforms. He performed his most recent single "Somebody" with Aubrey Toone on Good Day PA on ABC27, and is quickly generating a following with a fresh and distinguished sound.
