We all have that little voice in our head that is our inner saboteur. Kennedy and Kole created this incredible power pop track that acknowledges that inner dialog and pushes forward.
"Mean To Me" is the whole package. It is an anthem! I think this track is so relevant especially now with all of the time we are spending home and in isolation, our inner voices have a lot more time to make themselves known. The track is about overcoming that mental battleground inside of your head. Kennedy teamed up with Whakaio Taahi (Jake Miller, Hot Chelle Rae, Katelyn Tarver, Sheppard) to produce this timepiece with Caroline Kole.
“Our paths crossed earlier last year and we knew we wanted to collaborate in some way.” shares Kole on working with Kennedy. “Though we couldn’t be in the same room together to record this, FaceTime closed the gap between LA and Nashville. So excited to kick of 2021 this way, and anxiously awaiting the day we can play it live in front of actual people.”
