Landmine by FINNEAS and Aire Atlantica Review

FINNEAS and Aire Atlantica combine their musical talents to create their poppy new single/remix, “Landmine.” The vocals and electronic production intertwine in such a creative way that allows for both artists to express their individual sound. “Landmine” is the perfect example of a collaboration gone right and it’s blend of two talents’ musical differences that create an unlikely fluidity and energy as electric as that of an explosion from a landmine.

FINNEAS produced and co-wrote most of the song on Billie Eilish’s EP, “don’t smile at me.” He also performed with her on her sold-out world tour and at various festivals. He debuted at SXSW and, since then, has played solo shows in Los Angeles and New York, quickly selling out the venues.

Aire Atlantica, also known as Joe Pincus, produced songs through a few popular labels (Dim Mark, Spinnin’ Records, and Wall Recordings) before going on hiatus to develop a better, more refined sound. Since he came back from his break in 2015, he put has put his own spin on songs from artists like Billie Eilish, Hotel Garuda, K. Flay, and Ashe.
