‘Kind Reminder’ - Proxima Parada | Premiere

Practicing what they preach, Próxima Parada allows themselves to be vulnerable on Kind Reminder. The uplifting four piece's insights come shining through coming-of-age themes and feel-good attitude. The single is the title track of their upcoming album, available Friday, September 27.

The soul-filled song ‘Kind Reminder’ feels like a song about family and the ones you love most. I just left for college and honestly, when I hear this song I think about my parents and saying goodbye to them at the end of the first day. It made me think of how proud they are of me and what I’ve done to get to where I am. We all have those people in our lives that make us who we are. ‘Kind Reminder’ kindly reminds us to remember these people and thank them. So thank you, Mom and Dad.

This band honestly has something going for them. A completely different sound than the current mainstream but taps into something so universal and lovely. A combination of lovely vocals and twangy tracks create the perfect feel-good groove that hits home.

Próxima Parada blends soulful melody and hard-hitting rhythm into a sound distinctly their own, groovy and uplifting. Their music makes introspection and human connection sexy again. After signing with NYC-based label, AntiFragile. Starting in 2012 as a group of college friends wanting to extend their dynamic to their community in San Luis Obispo, CA, they never dreamed that their passion would reach a global audience, that they'd perform at beautiful historic venues and music festivals, that their music would soothe and uplift people around the world.

"Make It Up" - Port Lucian |Review

Pull into a dusky dreamland with the final single off of EP Prince of Oddities, "Make It Up". There is something so raw and special about this track. It captures the feeling of a dreampop lo-fi track
