Defining Hometown-Pop with ‘Kiss Me Now’ - Pretty Decent | Review

A pretty decent start! (So sorry for the bad pun)

Marrying the country genre of Dan + Shay and the timeless and anthemic qualities of an American Authors or O.A.R, Pretty Decent bring us the track and video for ‘Kiss Me Now’.

Produced by Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Ariana Grande), ‘Kiss Me Now’, the debut single of the four-piece out of Philadelphia, sets the tone for this band. Branding themselves as ‘hometown pop’, Pretty Decent finds the balance between the catchy hooks of pop music and the relatable lyrics of a fire side country song.

I love when new artists pop up and create their take on the end of the summer smash track. These guys show a lot of promise to join the ranks with country-pop cross overs like Seaforth and others.
