The latest track was released on March 3, 2023 and is already on its way to claim the title for song of the summer.
The tune starts with a dreamy synth that pulls the listeners in very quickly. Dawn’s vocals sit right on top of a funky melody and instantly makes you move. “Cotton Candy” is a song that points to a relationship and feeling good with lyrics like ‘out of control and I know you’re no good for me, but I like it”. The song ends with Estella’s powerhouse vocals shining through and making the track evolve a bit further, giving a feeling of ecstasy. The entire time while listening I felt like I should be on a dance floor and out of breath.
Estella Dawn is New Zealand born, but currently resides in San Diego, CA. With being a producer, singer-songwriter, and instrumentalist Dawn is essentially a jack of all trades when it comes to her own music. I could feel how much she enjoys being an artist and how dedicated she is with making sure her voice reaches people everywhere.
