Alternative rock duo CHROMERA (Aris and Amanda) return with “Beg (DADĒ Remix)”, a bold reimagining of their second single that bridges their heavy, guitar-driven sound with the pulsing energy of the electronic underground. The remix delivers dark textures, hypnotic basslines, and haunting vocals, exploring themes of boundaries and release—perfectly recontextualized for the club.

"This remix gave me the chance to fully lean into my obsession with heavy bass and stuttering vocal chops, and in doing so, highlight hidden textures and emotions that sit beneath the surface of the original. ‘Beg’ is already a powerhouse song from a killer duo—Aris and Amanda—and it was an incredible honor to pull it into my own world and bring it to life in a new way." - DADĒ

While CHROMERA has been crushing shows across Los Angeles throughout 2025, cementing their reputation for raw and immersive live performances, this collaboration signals a new dimension of their artistry. Partnering with Stephen Conley (Kami Kehoe) and renowned producer DADĒ (SZA, Don Toliver, Giveon), the remix emerges as a key moment in CHROMERA’s rise.

"I think this remix shows the versatility of us as a band. How we can create one song, but it can be turned into something else entirely. The world of EDM is a huge inspiration for our new band so we’re very excited and grateful to our friend Syd for slaying this track." - Amanda (CHROMERA)

About CHROMERA:

Chromera is a hyperpunk duo originally from Seattle, based in Los Angeles blending distorted guitars, glitchy electronics, and cinematic chaos into a raw, futuristic sound. Their debut unreleased single Save Urself gained viral traction on TikTok, amassing thousands of shares ahead of its official release, setting the tone for a breakout year.

Produced by Maxamillion Haunt (The Haunt), their upcoming 10-song debut is a collision of industrial rock and alt-electronic defiance. Like if Charli XCX went emo cyberpunk.

At its core, Chromera is powered by two queer artists pushing back against conformity and creating space for LGBTQ+ voices, women, nonbinary people, and anyone who’s ever felt on the outside.

About DADĒ:

(Yes, it’s pronounced daddy)

DADĒ is the pseudonym of Syd Tagle, a Los Angeles-based non-binary engineer, producer, and artist. After starting as keyboardist and vocalist for The Shakes, Syd moved to L.A. to pursue full-time production and engineering, collaborating with heavyweights like SZA (4x Grammy-winning SOS), Don Toliver (Love Sick), and Giveon (Give Or Take).

In 2023, Syd re-entered live performance as musical director and keyboardist for Miki Ratsula on G Flip’s Drummer Tour. Now through their solo project DADĒ, Syd explores infectious synths, driving melodies, and raw expression—stepping beyond their R&B and indie roots into new creative territory.
