“Carry Each Other” by The Born Love is a much needed dose of inspiration and hope. This indie pop anthem sounds like a breath of fresh air; like a sunrise that declares: today is going to be a good day.

Ethereal production sounds and pop synths set the light-hearted tone. The artists’ airy vocals are layered to create lovely harmonies while they sing deep, nostalgic lyrics such as “our time is a precious thing.” My favorite part has to be when the drums create beautiful crescendos that further evoke feelings of hope and inspiration while they supportively sing “We’ll carry each other” and “anything is possible.” Between verses, the vocalization and echoes add complexity to the song.

The Born Love is the enigmatic songwriting, production duo of Kevin Daniel and Aron Forbes whose collaborations include songs with Halsey, BANKS, and Vérité. Their 2017 single “Badlands” has reached over 228,000 streams on Spotify. During the days leading up to the release of “Carry Each Other” the band has been posting cryptic and colorful pictures of its lyrics, calling this new release “hope - in song form.”
