"Ain't Worth The Fight" - Gaby K | Review

A flirty love song about a love story flickering to an end, "Ain't Worth The Fight" is definitely what a lot of us have thought when relationships hit a rough patch.

Gaby K is a stunningly powerful vocalist from the UK and this track is effortless perfection. Her skill with lyrics makes for a relatable and whitty story line. Capturing the feeling of a relationship on the fritz, maybe love languages not matching, a lack of communication, who knows, this song captures a feeling anyone who has been in a relationship knows all too well. It begs the question is it worth the fight?

From Gaby: This song is all about empowerment. We should not settle for someone who does not give us the time and effort we deserve. In my opinion, for a healthy and successful relationship, it’s not about materialistic items but rather the priceless effort and attention that you give and is reciprocated. If someone doesn't feel they need or want to do that and you are having to constantly fight for them and ask for something that should be effortless then it’s not worth it. It is not worth fighting for someone who won’t fight for you.

Gaby K is a 24-year-old singer and songwriter from Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham. Since the age of 13, music has always been her passion, and the career she knew she always wanted to pursue. She has been writing her own songs for several years but only more recently since graduating from university, has she been able to prioritise recording and performing. Her style of music is Pop/Soul, drawing inspiration from artists such as Lauryn Hill, Emeli Sande, Al Green and Teyana Taylor.
