"What a Lie" - Liv Harland | Review

In the new year we are greeted with some powerful women in pop.

"What a Lie" by Liv Harland really gives me a song sister to "Drivers License" by Olivia Rodrigo vibes. Hardland's heartfelt vocals feels vulnerable and real. The track is produced by none other than fellow Unheard Gem, KiD RAiN, who we adore. For her first single, this is a gut wrenchingly emotional piano ballad which explores a breakup with an ex-girlfriend and showcases .

Sonically inspired by the likes of Tate McRae and Holly Humberstone, the single follows on from breakthrough cover 'Dancing In The Sky' which amassed over 14 million views and 2 million likes across socials.

Liv has created a name for herself busking across the UK and radiates positivity for women and the LGBTQ+ community. Liv’s videos have an incredible 10 million likes on TikTok and her fanbase continues to soar. Liv Harland is one to watch in 2021.

“Releasing this song is so special because it’s my first ever original track!!! I really hope everyone loves it"
