"Tiptoe" - XIRA |Review

I fell in love with "Tiptoe" in the first 20 seconds of listening.

XIRA's vocals are stunning. 'Tiptoe' is a fun electropop track that is perfect for sunny spring days.

About the track, XIRA says "This song was written about my cat, Muffin... who used to love me but now pretty much hates my guts. I guess you could say it's a bit of a sing along for anyone who's broken hearted (and a tiny little bit clingy)."

Although this might be about her cat I think everyone has someone they have felt like they need to tiptoe around.

XIRA is the alt-pop project of Sydney based, Tamika Nacson. Since the release of her debut single - Locks Changed - in 2018, Nacson has been writing between Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and LA, proving herself as not only a unique indie-pop artist but a dynamic co-writer, too. With a range of singles that showcase the different sides to her - ultimately pop - writing and her most recent feature (and co-write) on 3LAU’s 2019 single, Tokyo, XIRA has proven she’s open to almost any sub-genre of pop; and she’s sure to layer it with her own, unique sound - with a little touch of LOVA, Tove Styrke, Tove Lo and Sabrina Carpenter mixed in, too.
