“Talk” - Drea Rose x Katie Hargrove | Review

A groovy indie-pop track, “Talk” is a fun new take on pop that feels fresh and fun while still maintaining strong roots in sincere lyrics and storytelling.

“Talk” is a track about trying to just talk it out and make it work. Both Rose and Hargrove proudly identify as lesbian and women and wanted to release this track specifically today, on National Lesbian Day (October 8th). Releasing a song about a relationship is definitely a powerful move for any duo or collaboration because it brings the story to life in a more “real” way. The two bounce off of each other in this lovely light way that just makes you want to cheer on the relationship and hope they make it work.

On the track: “Talk” was the first song we wrote together and we thought it would be powerful, not only as two queer women singing about love but also as it’s a song that was written, recorded, and produced entirely by two women.”
