"Somebody Else" - Limon Limon | Review

Limon Limon is a duo that reinvents and upgrades their sound with every release.

"Somebody Else" is the newest release from this indie-synthpop duo. The groove of the track is infectious and perfect for that summertime sound. I love that the track is fun and danceable in the chorus but hits deeper in the more introspective verses that capture the push and pull of a relationship with some hurt feelings. Kaleidoscopic layers of muted electric guitar deliver an infectious new wave groove that blends elements of 80s rock and electronic pop, while heartfelt vocals will have you feeling like you could never be “Somebody Else.”

Future Indie duo Limón Limón seamlessly fuses the past and the future, the left and the right, the up and the down. Their captivating sound weaves together the expressive and unique feelings of live instruments with inventive lyrics, and layered vintage and digital synths. Limón Limón establishes a fresh perspective on feel good west coast music in it’s finest form.

The LA based duo is composed of Jason (Vocals, Guitar, Bass) and Rand (Keys, Synths, Drums).
