“Paradise” by SOMA is a dance pop/deep house phenomenon for people who are giving up on or fighting life. The Swedish artist explores the melodic deep house genre landscape. Paradise can mean freedom, happiness, world peace, a drink by the beach, or an iced matcha. In this song, SOMA describes paradise as sanity in an insane world, or a calm in the middle of a storm. The music builds a race against time, and the buildup makes the whole journey worth it. The lyrics tell a powerful, inspiring story of finding paradise in this world. SOMA’s soft but strong voice controls the music’s direction. “Paradise” is available to stream on all platforms on May 22.

About SOMA

SOMA is a multidimensional artist, songwriter, thinker, creative director, and anthropologist (according to her Instagram) based in Stockholm. Her unique voice tells stories of love, war, spirit, body, sex, all things human, and beyond. SOMA explores different musical styles through her music, making her one of the most compelling artists in Sweden. Blending the pulse and wisdom of Indigenous rhythms that run through SOMA's veins with songwriting that draws from the great pop melody makers of our time, SOMA is both ancient and yet always pointing towards a brighter future.

Her newest song, “Paradise”, will be released on May 22, 2025. If you’re a fan of Lykke Li, Fred again, Ben Böhmer, or Nils Hoffmann, check out SOMA’s music.
