Stephen Flickner is back with his new single “Next to Nothing”. This song takes us back to the early 2000s grunge era; the front row pits of warped tour, with screaming fans. If you’re a fan of Neck Deep, Lil Aaron and Jeremy Zucker you should definitely check out Stephen.
When he goes from “What a fucking tragedy” into the second chorus it makes me want to absolutely thrash but also scream cry. The chorus vocals hit so hard and make you feel exactly what the artist is feeling. This song is a harrowing declaration of loneliness and brings us back to the triumphantly depressed nature of 2000s pop punk.
