Alan Walker and Elley Duhé’s latest collaboration, Moonshine, is an energetic dance-pop anthem that perfectly captures the rush of being on a dance floor. As someone who goes to plenty of raves and EDM festivals, I can easily imagine the lights flashing, the bass vibrating through the crowd, and everyone going crazy for this track live. From the moment the beat kicks in, Moonshine hits you with fast-paced drums, shimmering synths, and shifting rhythm changes, which give the song a dynamic pulse that keeps you hooked from the start. The track even reminds me of some of John Summit’s productions, blending house and pop elements in a way that feels electric and euphoric.

Elley Duhé’s vocals truly elevate Moonshine to another level. Her voice has this smooth, echoey texture at the beginning that immediately draws you in before the beat drops. She transforms the single from a solid dance track to something so memorable. The lyric, “tried so hard but I can't deny, loving you’s like drinking moonshine” is insanely catchy. I have already caught myself singing it in my head all day.

What makes Moonshine stand out to me is the blend of pop with storytelling and the energy of modern house music. It is like one of those songs that you can play on a late-night drive or blast from festival speakers and feel the same thing. Overall, the track is a great reminder of the profound connection music can have with people; evokes emotion and inspires movement. Definitely a new favorite of mine and a must add to any dance playlist.

About The Artists

Alan Walker is a British-Norwegian DJ and record producer. He is most known for his optimistic lyrics and melancholic melodies. Since he was young, music has been his #1 passion. Walker started making music in 2012 and got his first hit single, “Faded”, which has over 2 billion streams. He says what drives and motivates him is the connection he shares with his fans, The Walkers. Along with Elley, Walker has collaborated with artists like Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, and Coldplay. A combination of his unique branding, catchy music, and strategic use of his online platforms is what made him so widespread.

Originally from the coastal town of Dauphin Island, Alabama, Elley Duhé got her start in local coffee shops around town. She started her artist journey at the age of 14, when she wrote her first song with a guitar she received from her father. Elley’s inspiration came from her musician father and uncles who are in the New Orleans music scene. Her vibe is described as heavily electric and hip-hop-influenced. Elley’s music tells a story of empowerment and inspiration.
