With his latest single “Ghost In The Shell,” Irish artist EDEN continues to expand the haunting, hyperreal world of his forthcoming album Dark. Following the release of gggiiiiirrrrlllll, this new offering pushes further into abstraction — a shapeshifting reflection on presence, memory, and identity in an increasingly fragmented world.

The track exists in a liminal electro-pop space, where soft melancholia and glitched euphoria entwine. Built on immersive synth layers and a slow-burning pulse, “Ghost In The Shell” feels like a digital daydream — weightless, disorienting, and deeply human. EDEN’s production leans experimental but never alienates; it’s emotionally raw while still sounding like a transmission from somewhere just out of reach.

Directed by Zhang + Knight, the accompanying music video deepens the sense of aesthetic and narrative immersion. It doesn’t explain so much as it envelops — inviting the viewer into EDEN’s distinct visual universe, one that’s just as ephemeral and charged as the music itself.

As Dark draws closer, “Ghost In The Shell” serves as a lucid, beautifully fractured preview of what’s to come: a project shaped by memory, glitch, and the spaces between.
