The first thing I thought when listening to ‘Drag You Down’ was “Wow, this is going to blow up on the radio”.
Joe Dolman brings you a beautiful love song with so much emotion and grace. This song is such an easy listen that you will just leave it on repeat. Dolman’s vocals are absolutely stunning on this track and the way there are gorgeous elements of layering for harmonies just elevates the track to a whole other level. Fair warning, for those to like to drive at night with moody music, this one is that night drive heartbreak anthem that you’ve been craving and it will make you shed a tear.
Honestly I can’t wait to see where this british pop star goes. Similar artists for me would be HUNTAR and Dean Lewis, with Lewis making waves on the radio I can really see Dolman fitting in that same niche alongside him, reminding us of the power of a heartfelt love song.
With 2 independently released EP’s under his belt landing him top 10 in the UK and US iTunes charts, Dolman has been growing from strength to strength with each show he plays, picking up BBC Radio 1 plays from the likes of Huw Stephens, airplay on BBC Introducing and with his double sided single “Something Beautiful” play-listed by Apple Music and Spotify.
