"Don't Know How to Feel" - Carter James | Review

There is little I love more than when Carter James creates a moody dark synthy soundscape.

"Don't Know How to Feel" is such a bop and I don't throw bop around lightly! I Think Carter taps into something very young and fresh with this song. The complicated nature of wanting to put yourself out there but protect your heart, something I am personally not the best at. The song bring up this allure of seductive confidence and the nature of a fling with a person who you are willing to push feelings aside for. Feeling something real, I wonder how that manifests these days when the dating game is just that, a game.

The driving force behind “Don’t Know How to Feel” is learning how to love again. “Don’t Know How to Feel" is an upbeat, romantic proposition built on a gritty synth bass and lush soundscapes. This Indie / Electronic Pop tune walks line of commercial and one of a kind.
